Here’s the thing about a 400V supply—it lets you run high-wattage lamps over longer runs without the voltage dipping. Less current means less voltage drop, and that keeps your wiring costs in check. Pair that with 2500W in a 300mm tube, and you get a lot of heat packed into a small space. That’s perfect for spot heating and processes that need to fire up fast. But—and this is important—that kind of density means your gear has to be ready for the thermal load. If the reflector or enclosure isn’t properly cooled, you can end up roasting nearby components. So plan for airflow and heat management.
