What it does under the hood This is a direct-fit digital temperature display for the PET oven zones on stretch blow molding machines. It reads the standard infrared heating elements—halogen quartz emitters—and plugs into existing thermocouple inputs and R7s lamp connectors. You get real-time zone temperature readout with ±1°C accuracy, and setpoint control that lines up with OEM heating logic. The display is built to live inside a heating tunnel—high heat, electrical noise, and all—so the numbers stay steady even when the line is pushed. Why it matters in practice Tight temperature control is what keeps bottle quality tight. With stable zone heat, thickness variation drops and you cut rejects from preforms that are underheated or overheated. Plants running this upgrade see fewer heating-related jams, and they recover faster after grade changes because setpoints are visible and repeatable. Energy use takes a hit, too.
